navigation system in 04 expedition

Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this. I have a 2004 eb expedition with factory navigation. The display screen has suddenly stopped working. The screen is just black on one side and blue on the other. Anybody have any ideas what the problem can be???? The radio works fine but you cant see what station your on or see the clock or anything else!!! HELP

I'm not sure about your specific system but some of these have a small reset button on them. You might check your owners manual to see if this is mentioned anywhere, if not you could probably pull it out and disconnect then reconnect the harness to it and reset it that way and see what happens.

If you can't get it working, I came across a used replacement if you want to go that route.

pulled fuses and still no luck, however that did work the last time this happened. also tried disconnect battery to try to reset to no avail. Guess we have to go to the dealer although I was trying to avoid that.
