Question Pulled two codes today...??

I had a CEL after shimming my FPR last week. I was at about 75psi average. I went WOT one time after the mod and the code read P1211 - Inject. control pressure higher or lower than desired. I cleared it and just kept my eyes and ears peeled for probs. This morning I pulled my FPR shim after learning that it's not advised on CA PSDs thinking it may have had something to do with the CEL. Then I went WOT x 2 today and threw the same code the first time and then an additional code (P0238 - turbo boost sensor A circuit high input) the 2nd time. I am running the tow program from my Edge Evolution. EGT's are good, boost hits 28psi WOT...Truck is running really nice.
Any suggestions about where I should go from here?
Thanks forward,
Ish

Its the tuner making more power.
You are running out of oil and over boosting the motor according to OEM specs. Oem boost is 13 to 15 psi.

Thanks Bill,
It was something you wrote about the Cali FPR that led me to remove the shim mod. I like the "more power" part but not so much the "running out of oil" part. WOT on the stock flash produces 18+psi and never a CEL. This is the first time I have played with the programmer since installing the new tranny (now broken in, bone stock, and under warranty for another 30 months). The HPOP and Turbo were replaced by the previous owner (oem stickers on both). I would assume they are less than 2 years and 40k miles old. Should I expect to live with an occasional CEL when I get on it? Do I need bigger oil for stock Cali sticks and an Edge programmer?

I want to play with the other two settings...but now I am SCARED!

Yep. The cali truck has higher fuel pressure. Non cali trucks will do a bb or install a cali regulator to boost the fuel pressure.

Cali will boost more over a non cali. Also a Cali chipped will make more power that non cali chipped.

You can install regulator on the mapp line set at 24 psi to stop the overboost code. Oil is about the tune. If you use the higher tune you will run out of oil sooner.

If you are looking for more power a change to singles is the best step in the right direction. Its the old you want to play you have to pay.

With stage 1's, would I still be oil challenged? I am looking into custom tunes for my programmer. I plan on using it for the winding mtn roads I drive daily at 25 - 45mph, to tow the occasional 10K#, and for fun (both on and off road).

How do I "install regulator on the mapp line set at 24 psi to stop the overboost code"?

Still learning as I go.

Thanks again! FTE rocks.
