rear diff limited slip

Has anyone replaced the clutch packs in a ford 10.25 rear diff limited slip unit. I am trying to figure out how to get those darn things out. im guessing there is a special tool to relieve the tension so you can pull out the spider gears, im stumpped.I need this done tonight if any one knows or knows where i can get info on the web greatley appreciated.

Is it a 1 piece or 2 piece traction lock. My manual lists options for both under the 10.5 rear diff.

limited slip

It has two clutch packs for left and right. the center is open. not sure what they cal it

Looks like you do need the special tool.
