big dissapointment!! (ATV's)
went to Schraders today for a look around and found out that my quad is virtually worthless. its 4 months old with 104kms on it and i could get about 5g's for it, paid 8200 for it. reason being...(real nice news) US dollar and consumers going south for RV's. the '08 model of my bike now sells for 6600 cash price. for what i paid for mine, i could almost get the 750 king quad. i was totally P-O'd when i heard that. oh well, i still like my 400, but its sad to realize that i could have saved 1600.00 just by waiting 3 months on my purchase!! good news for anyone who's been looking and thinking of buying one!!

Man that is dissapointing. It would have been nice to get the big king quad, what was the price of it when you bought yours?

Its a bit of a **** off! Our used Honda isnt worth anywhere near book value (and we all know that book value is usually an insult!).

i think the king was around 10500 when i bought, just shy of 9g's now... 
nice thing is, i'd planned to get a smaller one for momma and the baby so at least i'll get some savings on that!!

A friend of mine picked up a new Honda foreman 500 in the US for $5000!! They are now selling here for $7200!! We paid just over $8000 with tax when we bought our foreman 400 in '97 and that was the biggest Honda you could get then!!

definately not as an investment, but i didn't buy it to be a loss thats for sure. i realize that the minute it hit my truck i lost 10-15% on it, but 35% in 4 months with very little use is a kick in the pants...
