19.2 Tires

I am interested in the 285/70R19.5 wheels from Rickson Truck. They are a bit pricey, but will be worth the money if I'm able to make them last till the end.

I want to buy a 5 tire set, but need to know if the new size will fit in the original spare spot.

Tires are listed as 35.4" tall. I have seen other fit a 35" in the original spot, but not sure if the 19.5 rim will make a difference.

If it doesn't fit and I have to stick with the original spare, what things do I need to worry about if I have to use it with the 19.5's?

Tires are going on an 06 350 6.0 CC LB SRW.

Thanks,
Jeremy

Some of these trucks come with 20" wheels so I don't think it would be a problem. I'm sure if you contact Rickson they will be able to tell you, they must have had a bunch of trucks that got matching spares.

I've looked into them too but since I have a '03 with leaf springs I don't know if the 285s will rub on the springs. I was thinking maybe the 265s which are in the 34.5" range. I wish someone made a 265/85R16 or 285/85R16 tire...
