Hi I am just wondering if anyone out there knows where I can locate a fiberglass box cover for my '92 Flareside? I have called all over western Canada with no luck...even tried auto wreckers...
Also does any one know for sure if the "Styleside Euro taillight set" sold through LMCTruck will fit the Flareside? I ask because even though the factory replacements look the same on the outside, they carry different part numbers in the catalog.
Thanks JR, I think I will order the Euro tail lights...
On another note, does anyone know if the tonneau from a Styleside Ranger or newer (post 97) Flareside might fit the 92-96 Flare? Please correct me if I am wrong, but I think the Ranger was offered with a 7 foot box at one point.
I did some research, the 2007 Ranger is offered with a 7 foot box. The measurements are 84.6" long by 54.3" wide. Does anyone have the width measurement for a 1992 to 96 Flare? This might be the answer to the cargo cover question...
...reason I ask is I don't pick up my flare until Feb 29th, so I can't just go outside and measure the box...but if I can get accurate measurements, I can pre-order some parts for the new truck!! So far, I have ordered Euro tail lights, carpet, rims and tires....
Hey JR, just how rare are our trucks? I find it kind of funny that there is almost no after-market parts for one single model of the most popular vehicle for the past 30+ years...
Please tell me where! I have been searching online and everything I find usually say "all models 80-96 except Flareside"...I was getting ready to just custom build the cargo cover...
I'm gonna start custom building my own here soon...I saw one no a buddy's truck and I liked the clean look of it.....They are kinda rare but I'm starting to see a few more around....still, not too many...Where did you get your aftermarket stuff from?I'm playing hell.
so far just Ebay (for the aftermarket - Altezza tails @ $35 plus $30 shipping, billet grilles, clear lower turn lamps, etc) and LMC Truck (factory replacement stuff like carpet etc) but I am still looking to see if a 2007 7 foot Ranger tonneau will fit, as I have yet to find anyone that makes a '92 to '96 Flareside specific...
I did some checking today, it looks like the tonneau/cargo cover from a 2007 Ford Ranger with the 7 foot box should fit the 1992-1996 Ford F150 Flareside.
ive got a flareside, it really needs to be cleaned up cause the previous owner took horrible care of it. im sure i can manage to restore it. do yall have any advice?
