I have a Chilton for an 87 250 and the firing order for it is as follows. It may be of a help.
Dist rotation-Counterclockwise
From the front of the engine to the back:
left side: 1,2,3,4
right side: 5,6,7,8
dist placement is from the 12:30 or 1:00 postion
1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8
Hope this helps.

Sorry Kyle don't know the firing order for the 460
, but I have a question for you. Do you have any information as to the H.P and torque on your 460?
I have a 1989 3/4 ton van with a 460 and I'm looking for the comparision between it and the new V10. the V10 has 265 H.P @ 4250 RPM and 405 lbs of torque @ 2750. Can you help? Thanks
John
