Not sure I get the need for all the work on the stretch cab or rear door, but based on instagram pics you're well under way.
I dig the concept rendering!

@chasetruck754 honestly I did it because i wanted a 1 off crewcab and to push my fabrication skills to the ultimate test.

I can understand that. I'm doing the same pretty much - although I hate body work, so I'm keeping my fab to other stuff unless completely necessary on the body.

Stock back seat room sucks.
A 3-4" stretch adds a lot of function.

My back seat doesn't seem that bad at all. No, it's not a dodge megacab with a reclining rear seat, but has similar room to my 2004 Tundra crew cab.
Not my truck or time spent modding, so not my worry at all, just didn't personally get the extra time & effort.
I will however enjoy the pictures & progress of the work & fab.

Left me know if you have any leads. Needs to be rust free with A/C. Other then that I'm good.

Nobody knows what the production numbers are because most records were thrown out. Also all crew cabs were built in Canada.

What motors were available and were autos produced more? Is factory AC common? Just trying to see if a manual 4x4 CC with A/C is nonexistent or attainable.

Not all crew cab 4x4 were factory short beds. I have a '76 crew cab 4x4 with a factory long bed (8 footer) .

yes, all 4x4 were factory shortbed. Yours was converted at sometime in its life. Either it is a converted 2wd frame or it has been stretched
