At what PSI do you get a "P0234 Engine Overboost Condition" code?

At what PSI do you get a "P0234 Engine Overboost Condition" code?

I seam to get this when towing up a long hill. Just wondering what makes a over boost condition.

do you have your red wastegate line disconnect on your wastegate arm?

It is somewhere between 22 and 24 pounds of boost.

I know they preset the overboost Annihilator to 22 PSI. I recall reading it will trip a code around 24 PSI?


I still throw a code every once in a while with my Overboost Annihilator. It did it sat afternoon, but cleared itself out in a minute or two.

That code you have is probably p1211, which is set when you're in a hot tune with lots of throttle, it pulls the ICP down to a level where a code is thrown.

I heard 22, but MAP sensors have a lot of variability in them. I have heard as low as 18-20 to some not throwing the code ever.
Is there an advantage to having the OBA set as close to throwing a code as possible?
