55 and howling

my 1964 f250 is driver and sometimes that means the freeway speedlimit 70 i feel like its to much my friend has a rearend with 3.73 gears would my truck not work so hard thanks you guys are great todd

Yes a 3.73 would help immensly in getting the rpms down at highway speeds.

Or keep the 4.10 or 4.88s and install a overdrive transmission.
