Intake elbow questions

I was looking to port and polish my stock elbow since my truck is a work truck and not my personal. Has anyone done this and more importantly done this compared to the $170 aftermarket elbow. My last elbow question is anyone who has the elbow any compaints? seem do do what you were looking for?

While talking about intake and flow is there a way to increase the boost pressure with the stock turbo? Tightening a waste gate or anything? Thanks in advance.

I tried an elbow for a bit and didn't notice any difference, so I returned it to stock. I can see the benefit on a normally aspirated engine, but on a forced induction engine, I think its so negligible that its hard to justifying any effort or cost.

Mark is probably right, I couldn't help myself and had a Accufab elbow installed last week. The truck has 120K miles, and I have to admit, if it does help, it really isn't that noticeable. It looks nice though and that might be worth the $170.
