Limited Slip Differential?
my 93 f-150 XLT 4x4 5.0 litre reg cad long box will do 2 wheel burnouts yet is bnone stock! do they come with a limited slip of sorts stock? i also drove a 94 xlt f-250 stock x-cab longbox gas with a 351 it was the same!

Many were LS. You can post the vin and hope Numberdummy looks in at the post. Or crawl under the truck and look for a tag on the axle. It will have something like 4 11 L. That would be 4.11:1 ratio, L imited slip.

A 302 doing two wheel burnouts.....don't tell the guys in the six forums about this.....

Whats wrong with that first off it is a long box reg cab so its light in the rear end and i dont have mud tires or anything on it! when i get it running i will get u pix
!

hey I've seen 94 f150 302-e4od-lifted 35x12.50 pro comp tires do 2 wheel burnouts-before he fried his trans

look at door sticker.

if axle code has a letter then it is limited slip.

also, the vin does not tell you what axle you have.

Actually, the "L" would be between the first and second numbers, like this: "3 L 31" (3.31:1 gear with a Trac-Loc diff). "3 31" would signify a 3.31:1 gear with an open diff.

That part of the code will be on the second line on the tag, right after the ring gear diameter identification.

i just crawled under thgere and it said 4L10 what does this mean?

the gears multiply the power by 4.1 times.

the reason you can do 2 wheel burnouts is that 1. you have l.s. and 2. you have v8 torque and 3. you want to show off.
