97 f 150 Door Hinge
I have a 97 f 150 and always have had a popping noise when opening and closing the driver side door. The door is now having more trouble closing. The hinge will need to be replace, I believe. Is this difficult?

Yes, its hard. Aligning the door can be difficult without the proper equipment. Door lift equipment is made for this type of stuff though a transmission jack would probably work if you had a friend helping....

Thanks, Just received a call from the dealership apparently the adjustment arm in the middle of the door punched a hole through the body of the truck, the noise explaned, and now welding needs to be done. Ask why, and is unknown.
