Arghhh!!

Guys,

I changed my tranny fluid and filter today. All looked good at 36k..Got everything bolted back together and I found the round magnet laying under the EX..I just put it on the outside bottom of the pan. Is this enough to catch any metal shaving's? I really don't want to do this again..

As long as you don't loose it somewhere on the road you should be ok.
but then you would have to verify often if it didn't fell off.
For your peace of mind redoing it is the sure bet.
