personalizing a C-6

Ok folks for those who know me I've been tossing around the auto vs. manual thoughts some. I've decided to stick with the C-6 in this truck now how do I get a lower first gear while still maintaining a 3. some thing rear end and a final drive ratio of 1 ? I know the np435 and the warner have like a 6:1 first granny gear. But swapping in a manual tranny is outa the question for this truck.

basically as I understand the lower the first gear ratio is the easier the engine can start the ball rolling right?

there is a low ratio kit for a c6.it makes 1st and 2nd lower than stock.should be able to do a search online and find a kit pretty easy.

ahhh ok thanks I have this idea about keeping the rear end geared hight and the tranny's first and or second geared lover then later adding in a over drive.
