L and L Power Steering bracket

I just installed the bracket on my 460. I called L and L to see wich power steering pump I needed and they said I needed a pump for a 351m-400m. So I then went to the parts store and picked one up. I got home tried to put it in and there is no way it would fit. Does anyone have one of these brackets that have the right power steering pump for it? If so could you please give me the part # of the power steering pump. Thank you for your help.

I was able to use Factory 429 brackets that came out of a 1969 T-bird ( donor car for 429) when I installed the P/S Pump in my 1984 Bronco. I had to grind just a little out of the "U" portion of the bracket.. but it worked just fine with the '84 Bronco p/s pump.

I did however have to buy L&L's alternator bracket which worked just fine.

Used the AGR replacement unit on the L&L bracket, part #8015H, direct upgrade replacement(for the 351M/400), got mine for $130 with no core charge, fit like a glove. Haven't gotten the dreaded Ford PS marbles/whirring/whinning or bypassing fluid noise, even at full lock and this turning 35" tires. Seems more powerful at low rpm's(or at least doesn't bypass under load). Did come complete, except for the pulley, might need the hi-pressure hose to go with, and used a 48" fan belt(17480). Make sure to use Type F fluid.
