Low psi #2 piston
Hi everyone I have a question I have a 1994 IDI 7.3 I was driving on a trip an it started to run rough an blow blue smoke I had it checked out an they said my # 2 piston is only at 115 psi the rest are about about 300 psi. It has 164,000 miles on it I am wondering if I had a leak down test done an I as getting blowby into my crank case , befor I go send the money on a motor I am wondering if it could be a injestor an not the rings or can I repair #2 piston . If I have to replace the motor where is a good place to get a used motor , a new motor coast about 5,500 dollars . Thank you Rick

Your at the valve guide wear mileage.... not unusual with the 7.3. Possibly a bad seal on the valve/seat.....
