everyone has their favorites... i have a guy at Thunder & lightening auto service that always makes me happy... he never spouts off about legalities when it comes to pipes and such, and his prices are reasonable.

i might try to get that '73 off him. the box is a little rough but it runs like a top. 360 pulls real strong.

Bruce at Competition said the Flopro system was very good value. its been a while since I paid attention to what sounds best on a 7.3. I dont like the straight through sound on a 6.0. The sound becomes all whistle and I much prefer a deeper rumble to the exhaust sound. There are quite a few guys around here with the turbo back systms on their 6.0 trucks - quite a few different makes as well. When towing, the sound seems to get on my nerves much as a high pitched whistle annoys a dogs ears! Maybe I am getting old!

Im not much for the whistle sound either. Its cool some of the time, but it gets old.

I think when its exhaust time for me I am going to attempt to throw it on my truck myself. Awhile back there was a fella from bc that got a complete system ordered in from somewhere in the states, for around 400 bucks.

i love the whistle but i can see where it would get on my nerve on a long ride. some of them still have a good bark when you get on the go-go pedal...
