Brakes

Went to Auto Zone today and got new front pads and rotors. Got home and cracked fresh beer (first step to anything) and tore the front end down on the drivers side. Got the old rotor off and went back to the bed of the truck, opened the new rotor box, and.............wrong size. The new one was 14.5" diameter where the old take off was 13" diameter. Called auto zone back and they went thru everything again.....2003......F350........6.0L..........mono beam front axle...........SRW..............yada yada yada..........

Told me I had the correct one. Yeah.....right. I invited them down to my place to take a look, but they declined the invitation. They stated that this was the only one available for my truck (part #54077). Regardless....I'm returning them and going elsewhere.

Just venting.................(after I had to put the brakes back together and now go back to return them and then find another place that knows what they are talking about.........)

Yeah any thing like that is aggravating. I tore into the front end of a ranger one time to change whel bearings. After I had it tore down I went to change the inner bearing and what they had given me was a rear axle bearing. I took my other truck back to town 30 miles away.
