I'm now a card carrying member of AARP for the last three years. One of the reasons I like my F-250 Reg Cab V-10 with the 6-Speed manual is that the spouse doesn't drive a stick transmission. Both kids are out of the house so, now I have a truck/vehicle that is "ALL MINE". I know it may sound a little selfish, but in years past I have had a number of Corvettes, a few Lightning trucks, Mustang GTs, SL-320, SL-500 and S-500, a couple of CLK convertibles....but it always seemed like there was someone else in the driver seat from time to time. This one is mine, it appears no one else wants to drive a 250 XL manual, can you imagine that. The only other toy I had that was all mine was my Screaming Yellow, SVT Focus.....Boy I miss that car and it's MPGs.

Oooops... huge brain fart on my part. I had to go out and double check the shifter **** in the truck, it is L 1 2 3 4 OD. I'm currently working 10pm to 6am. With the kids, home life, work and a complete lack of sleep, I was way out in left field when I wrote that. Sorry, I didn't mean to mislead.

Everything else I said was right on the money though.... damn I'm gettin old! Hah, beats the alternative!
