Go with the AFE ProDRY if available for your vehicle. It is well made, and the washable filter element does not need to be oiled. Excellent filtering efficiency. If a kit is not available for your year, you can buy one from another supplier and use the ProDRY element to replace the one that comes with the kit, but obviously that ties up more of your hard earned cash. To me I don't want any dirt getting past my filter, so in terms or preventing engine damage, its worth it to me.
