Acting like dead batteries

Angry Acting like dead batteries

Ok guys.... need your help.....

2005 F250 CC Harley......no aftermarket alarm..

This morning truck was very slow to turn over acting like batteries were going dead...... Check the voltage and both batteries had 11.96 volts....

Tried to start again and got the dead battery clicking with the radio going dead..

Put a charger on the batteries and still got the dead battery click.......

Plse help...... any suggestions????????????

they might be bad i was getting 13.4 out of my batteries with 75k on them. did you do a load test on them? they may be show good volts but fall off after a load test this is common

When you check your batteries, you have to disconnect one and check the other, and then vice versa. The fact that your voltage is under 12 tells me bad batteries, one is prob completely dead and is draining the other. Remmember to change both batteries at the same time. Unlikely, but it could also be a bad alternator. Good luck

Ok guys........ thanks for the info......... put two yellow top optima's in and it works great now..........
