engine harness

is there a viable difference between the engine wiring harness between an 88 300 L6 and an 89 302 V8 or are they interchangeable? just out of curiosity

88-89 not sure on the 87-88 you can just unhook them at the firewall-and switch them out-may be the same on those years-subford would know

one BIG difference 6inject/8injector wiring (unless you have throttlebody)

well if i were to use the 302 plus the injector wiring would it mate properly to the 300 harness? would the ecm get all wacky?

The sensors and actuators are in very different locations on the two motors, so you can't put one on the other without tearing it all apart and re-routing a bunch of stuff.
