Question Drain and refil the front diff

1992 F250 4x4 351 std cab

Trying to do some well needed maintenance. Took care of the rear diff, now for the front .

Seeing only the fill plug, is there a better way to change the fluid without pulling the carrier?

Is there a low cost pump to suck the fluid out ? Something that will handle gear lube?

Maybe there's another way?

Open to ideas. Thanks everyone.

I used a pump that was designed to be sold with some brand of diff fluid. I forget the brand but it was at NAPA. Worked pretty well.

I use a mit vac pump for everything from changing diffs without breaking gaskets,
bleeding brake fluid, power steering fluid and checking motor vac and vac components
and pulling out a 1/2 quart or so of tranny fluid every oil change. it makes me feel
better to know there is fresh fluid in there I use a hose as long as the dip stick to pull
it out. Don't forget to regrease your front wheel bearings and lube up the engagement
parts with a med weight oil!! That means you have to pull the hubs apart!!

I have that very pump but have never used it for this application. Didn't think a hand vacuum pump would pull diff fluid.
The front brakes, wheel bearings, seals, and hubs have all been done. I want fresh diff fluid before it comes off the jackstands.
