Torque converter lock up
I have a 97 f-150 4.6 and drive 5 mi. one way to work.
My gas mileage suffers in cold weather because the converter doesn't
lock up until the engine is warm.It adds about 600 extra rpms at 55.
Does anyone know how to get the converter to lock up sooner?
