New Tires

Hey guys, I have been searching for some tires for my slick and found this place that makes OEM style bias-ply tires for classic vehicles. I ordered a set for my F-100 at $70 a piece from one of thier distributors in Indiana (Zirker Tire). Anyway, I thought I would post a link to the websitem in case anyone was interested:

I ordered the STA Super Traxions as they most closely resembled the original spare on my slick.

I'm glad that you like them, I don't want anything but radials under my truck. I think they are much safer.

I don't plan on driving my slick around too much, just local backroads, no highway...so I don't see a problem with them. I wonder how they'll do in the rain??

I drove my '65 F250 for years on bias ply tires and I can still remember my astonishment to find how much better it drove on radials. It handles the ruts in our great freeway system without wandering and the ride was unbelievably improved. I don't mean to rain on anyone's parade but I would never go back to bias ply unless it was a show truck only. Steve
