i'm looking to buy some ranchhand bumpers but dont know exactly what they'll look like. any body got some pics of theres. and was they hard to install??
My bumpers are not Ranchhands but they are very similar. Mine were custom built in Madisonville Texas at a weld shop. I didn't install them but it doesn't look like it would be too difficult a job. Pics are in the link below.
Ron, too bad you live in Ohio. Here in Vegas I have a full set of RanchHand products I removed from my F350 I recently purchased in Texas. I have the full front bumper guard, the toolbox, the headache rack and the rails. Would love to get rid of it for way cheaper than what it costs from the factory but for you shipping would be quite prohibitive. Maybe you know someone who is making a trip to Vegas soon. I can send you pics if you (or anyone else) is interested.
Have you looked at their website? They have some pics there. I had these pics in my computer. If no one else posts I'll try and get some more shots later.
Here is a Picture of the Ranch Hand Brush gaurd. It doesn't come with the light pockets or the Forged Steel Shackles either. I cut and welded those in. I also rewelded the mounting Brackets as well. It has 10 5/8 grade 8 bolts holding it in place. If you were closer I'd hook yah with a bumper replacemnet style Cow catcher. I have one sitting out back. But boy are those things HEAVY. Thats why I opted for this style, and just beefed it up, to save on weight. Country
On edit I can't seem to post a picture. Sorry guys...It is in my webshot link though.
Hey Chris, nice truck! I love the look of the RH bumpers. Nice rack too.. HAH HAH..

Just out of curiosity has anyone tried to put a reciever hitch on a truck with a ranch hand bumper?I'v got ranchhands and bought a Putnam reciever hitch for a 10 inch drop bumper but haven't tried to put it on yet. Some pics from underneath would be great
I have a very nice Ranch Hand set up... but I don't know how to get pics on this Forum, I'm still relatively new to this one. (not sure that I have rights to post pics due to being so new)
PM your email addy, and I'll hook ya up...
My Front is a full replacement with a Winch plate.. .it's a definite head turner, and the rear is a wrap around Dually Bumper. Both are very heavy. I've taken out 2 deer with the front, and only had to run it through a car wash (the truck, not the deer) and the rear has been welded on such that it will not come off without some major effort...
Here some pics of the rig. Chris I have that exact FT bumper sitting out back. I have to do some work on it too, install lights and also the shackles and Powder Coating, then install it. Your truck looks great! Country
On Edit. Ok I got it. As I mentioned before, I cut out the mesh and welded in the frames and brackets for the lights. And Also cut and welded some thick bar stock to recieve and the mounting bolts for the shackles, and I also beefed up rewelded the brush guards mounting brackets for a stronger install. It's held in place with 10 5/8 grade 8 bolts to secure the unit to the truck.
