Wondering if any one knows if all F150 seats are compatible with my 2004 fx4 f150 extra cab? I am thinking of possibly going to a junk yard or such and get new seats for my truck. The cloth is stained and just plain ugly. Thinking possibly of leather. Are they all compatible? Junk yard a right spot to go for the cheapest? What is another good options? What have ya'll done to minimize this problem?
I know I have a hard time getting my stock cloth seats clean and they stain way too easy. I'd love to find a set of leather at a junk yard, I've seen the leather covers on eBay but they're expensive!
Thats a good site for good seat covers, but if you found a set of used seats, I cannot see any reason why it wouldnt work. My parents had a PT Cruiser with cloth interior and they found a set of leather seats on eBay and they did the swap and it worked fine for them. I can't see any reason why it wouldnt work on a F-150.
Yes all the seats will work, however, make sure you get sets from an extend cab since you have an integrated seat belt. I know my crewcab doesn't have that type of seat belt. The only thing is depending on your trim level, if you get full power seats, you may not have all the wiring for the seats, not a big issue, but just one other thing to consider.
