Urban!!!

Sort of a spin off of the mall crawlin post. Has anyone ever participated in urban off roading? i.e. taking your junk up cement stairs over curbs, through peoples yards, baseball fields etc? Just curious. b/c I once knew of a guy when he was about 15 yrs. old who had a $800 beater broncoII with bald tires and not enough gas money to make it to the trails. This is what he did before he moved out of the city. Just curious.

yeah i have done some of that, we go to the industrial areas, where you wont ruin grass or anything, and we will knock over those k rails and climb them, go up concrete stairs for articulation, that kind of stuff, its pretty sweet stuff, as long as you respect the property since it isnt your stuff, dont leave too many black marks and dont break anything!

Weve trenched a few yards in our day if that counts...
Destroyed some landscaping, then ironically found out that that was our new jobsite a week later. The guys couldnt figure out why we couldnt stop laughing while replacing all the shrubbery lol

Had to pay $1200 for some sod... yeah... apparently the apartment complex next to mine wasn't as lenient about driving through the grass as mine was. Went from my parking lot throught the fields and out of thier parking lot and they made a big deal... cuz I tore up a little grass.

grass is some hardcore wheelin. whenever I venture out in to some deep grass I always install a set of BFG ATs on my 79. they pull so hard I rarely have to put it in 4wd but the superior traction usually has me twisting splines on my 60 rear. Im looking in to CTMs 300m FF shafts or building a D70/sterling

The only problem is I don't think it will be stong or tall enough for that tough grassy terrain. You may need to Rockwell it and stack a few lift blocks in the front and rears to "get you up there", then get a set of those 54" Thornbids. Then you'd be a force to be reconed with!!!!!

nooooooo!
Minion members aren't allowed to have open diffs!

You can see two ruts coming out of the ditch perpendicular to it, and the other rut isn't shown, it's cut off and it was a little on the road. I wasn't getting on it to much that time either, just needed to clear out the ditch so the water would flow better, other wise it would end up in my carport.
