Google Earth

Does anyone know anything about Google Earth? Some of the guys at work were talking about it and said you could zoom in so close as to see people license plates? Is this true and has anyone ever used it?

Not quite as close as that but it`s awesome.
A friend printed some pictures of my two farms and the building, lanes are very visiable, I was impressed!

If you subscribe to it, APPARANTLY, you can get really close clear pictures of licence plates and stuff like that.

Its pretty neat, I have used it alot when I was house shopping for a house in BC.

Its really easy to use. what part couldnt you figure out? Like how to zoom in, or how to find a specific city?

One thing i wish they did have on it is land locations, that would be neat.

I love Google earth almost nightly i "go on vacation" somewhere. Seen some neat things. Some areas aren't very good resolution, like northern Sk but when we went to Vegas last April i had Google earth in my head the whole time and i knew where we were going. I studied routes and roadways on how to get to where we wanted to go. Once we got back i was right back on it to see what i might have missed over the next hill or further down the road.

I enjoy getting on there from time to time. Looking at old neighborhoods or for carlots.
