Sensor?
I just finished putting a radiator support in my '93 Bronco. While doing so I found a sensor that was attached to the lower drivers side of the radiator support. The wiring runs into the headlight wiring harness on the upper side of the radiator support. What in the world is this? The "sensor" is female and has a male "plug" plugged into it with no wires coming out of the male side. Wires run out of the female side. Never seen anything like this. It is completely hidden from view with the bumper installed. This Bronco has no airbags, thermometer, etc....and I can't figure what it could be. Any ideas?

Wish I had snapped a pic while everything was apart. It's a black box about 3" X 2" and maybe 1" thick. Strange thing is I don't have a thermometer....lol But it is an Eddie Bauer.

My thermometer and compass usually take a minute or so to wake up. Maybe a fuse is out if it looks there is a spot for the display in the over head console. I don't think I have noticed that sensor. Another thought, if you have an air bag, two crash sensors are forward of the radiator.
