Got a question for ya. A friend of mine just blew a head gasket on his 92 F250 with a 460, 182K. Upon removing the heads for a valve job and machining we notice the Exhaust gas Bumps in the center roof of head. Casting #F2TE. He removed the bumps and match ported the exhaust. When I changed my exhaust system, headers and all, I didn't notice these bumps nowhere in my ports. Casting #F4TE. I tried looking up Camber size on these 2 different head #'s, but have been unsuccessful. Does anyone have CC chamber size on these two castings. Was curious to know why his head would have them and mine wouldn't? Which head would be the better head? Glad to see mine didn't have them, thats for sure :-)
