no fuel

rebuilt my 7.3 it turns over I have oil pressure, but dont know if my injection pump is working or not, or if I have air in the line. If I opened one of the fuel lines nothing comes out.

When you go to try and start it you should have all the injector line only tightened down slightly. A couple turns or so. Then crank the engine over (not for to long though) and wait until fuel starts coming out of each injector line. Tighten the line down once fuel starts coming out around it.

Also the lift pump could be broken i guess.

How much of the motor did you rebuild. (not a new injection pump?)

Hope this help some

do you have a bicycle type shrader valve on your fuel filter. IF so, take a core remover and loosen it up so air will flow back out and crank your motor over. You might have to wait for your fuel filter to fill up unless its full but you can also remove the bolts and get to the brass fittings and check your supply from the fuel pump. a chiltons book helps alot too in identifying differnt lines so you dont have to try to follow them all over. good luck
