Ieat why wouldnt that tire fit on that rim. The rim can be slightly skinnier then the tire I alwasy thought. I see a lot of guys running 12 inch rims with 14inch tires
Conrads wouldnt put a wider tire on my stock rims. I just wouldnt do it.
stock rim no. Stock rims cant be much wider then maybe 9 inches if that. I think mine were 7 or 8. I think we should give this guy what we think about his fittment issue. I say yes he will fit aas long as he has thew right spacing and is a 4wd X that has been lifted. AS for the tire weight I cannot imagine that being an issue. As I said earlier I am looking at the SS TRXus 35's and they weight the same as the TSL Radial 36". Those tries are exactly 1 inch difference but same weight.

I agree, I think they will fit ONLY with the right backspacing. BTW u also have to look at the tread type. If that tread is way more meaty, then their will be alot more friction on the road, therefore less performance. Thats another reason u might want to go with 4.30's if the OP gets the 36's or 37's. But anyways, we need more info on the specs of the OPs truck
veru true but it is a radial so the meat is still radial meat. That is one of the reasons I am going with radial. Longer life to the tire and nicer ride. I think if he has at least 4.5 back spacing he should fit. I wish I could give him some advice on a way to measure so he can figure out if it will fit.
Hey guys. you are correct the tire size is 315/75/16. The truck does sit level there are airbags in the back, because I tow a 34 foot toyhauller 13,000 lb toy hauler. I have about 40lb in them around town with the kids and all there crap. 120 when I am towing. I think the lift is a Pro-comp? with double shocks upfront. The only thing I think i need is to upgrade the swaybars.
The tires due rub just a tiny bit when lock to lock. but just a tiny bit. I did have to trim the black plastic that hangs down from the bunmper , no wheel spacers
Well lets compare the 4 inch backspacing that he has from the rims he has now to the stock rims. Then will go from their. What kind of backspacing does the stockers have?
Ieat that is a good point. I dont think he has stock rims with 35's though. I cannot imagine that. Kappy you really rub with a 6 inch procomp lift and 35's . That is what I have and I have at least an inach 1/2 locked
What kind of rims do u have NJ? How cant u imagine 35's with stockers? I had 35's with stocks on. I didnt keep them cause i didnt want new rims cause i like the stock rims.
When I got my 35's their was no way I was fitting them on my skinny 7 inch stock rim. I have procomp rims right now 16x10. I woouldlike to get 17 but really dont see the reasoning behind the $$$ to do it right now. I do have a set of 33's on my stock rim and I run those when I have to fit into the garage form time to time. Thay are only 9 inches wide though.
Nope its not all the time but it does rub.. the rims I have are nothing special. They are not offset nore deep. That might be the issue.. I think that they are a 10 inch rim..

That is the issue. So they arent stocks because they are ten inchs wide.

BTW, what engine are u runnin? Thats a big trailer by the way
I have a V10 hahaha I get 7 mpg on the flats and 5ish going up the hills ahd passes here in Sunny CA...2nd gear 4000 rpm get me about 55 mph up the hills. There are a few steep grades on secondary roads that I get up to 40 mph.
The trailer I have is tripple axel and 9000 dry add gas, water, propane, 2 adult quads 4 kids quads and a dirtbike plus gear I guess 13,000lb is a close guess. I did have a custom hitch class V.. Hypertech, air intake, headers and exhaust.
