You can count on the sound but power and milage will be so minimal you will think its there cause it sounds better but that is about it. You got to have a good sounding exaust though
Yeah sound it will increase and it it is by all means throaty mpg and more power i dont think so might hurt your mpg cause your foot is always in it cause you love the sound lol
speakin of Flowmaster...i gotta 2 chamber flow but not "true duals", is it possible to have "true duals" on the 97 F150 ext cab, 4x4...i think the gas tank would be in the way and either too much trouble to do or wont work at all
The modular motors dont sound that good without cats, ususally.

Yes it is possible, you will have to cut off the end of the y pipe, and then take 2 pipes down the passenger side.
I drew a pretty picture to illistrate what im trying to say.
very nice bobby lol! will you draw up some plans for my new house? eh, it's better than i could do! dustin1690, of course your motor sounds good without cats, but then again it's an ancient conventional pushrod motor! I run those 351ws in my derby cars with stacks out the hood, sounds great! lol. I've got the true duals with no mufflers, but i would like to eliminate the precats and put some high flo cats and 40 series Flowmasters on there. Would dual in dual out sound/flow better than two individual mufflers? i know the dual in/out muffler would even out the exhaust pulses and possibly scavenge some more torque.
Yeah that is true i guess i gotta 351 and that would sound different without cats but i heard some 4.6l duals and no cats or mufflers sounds pretty wicked to me
