I'll be keeping an eye on this thread as well. (not to hyjack it LOL) But I'm also working with the local salvage yard on a set of new 16" wheels to replace the 16 1/2"'s that it currently has. Something about having a "center lip" or not?? They actually stated I would be better off to bring in a wheel so they could match up a set of 4 for me.

it depends on the wheel
each one can have a slightly differant opening
my cragar 397 series steel wheels use 5.12" center caps
