2001 E-150 Suspension Help
I have a 2001, E150, 6cyl. with about 75,000 miles. I'm not sure what the current weight is, but with shelves, parts, wire spools, tools, and an open cargo area, the rear springs are FLAT. I don't think I'm near the GVRW, just worn out leaf springs. I installed a helper air bag system that needs the air monitored, one side is leaking. It's causing driving issues. I plan on adding a new front roll bar and possibly a rear to correct swaying and stability issues, and have already replaced all of the shocks.
I need to correct the saging rear end perminately without having to mess with it.
I've looked at these -add a spring- products from JC Whitney:

Question 1: Do you think one product is better for my application than the others?
Question 2: Is it worth replacing the factory springs in conjunction with a helper kit or would the helper kit be enough?
Thanks Jeff
I may not have the load you do. I tow a car trailer with about 150 lbs of tongue weight and between 800 and 1000 lbs of equipment in the back. The add-a-leaf leveled out the van and really improved load carrying and handling.
I would buy Helwig's biggest helper springs or call them (I got their number off their website) and ask them what helper spring they have would give the most help.
I don't know if they are still listed or not but Rough Country used to have a big add-a-leaf listed in the JCW catalog.
