dude i cant say for sure, but given the similarities in the bronco and f150, i would say you could find a f150 with a 460 possibly or an f250. you may be able to get what you need from there. i have seen EFI 460's in 80 and later full size broncos, try this article, it may get you closer. http://www.projectbronco.com/Technical_Articles/installing_460.htm

460 swap, I am in the process of lining eveything out for my 82 F-250 4x4 to do the same. Do you have the C-6 auto trans? I would be sure you would need a trans from an 82 on back 4x4 with the 351M or 400 engine, or one from a 83 up directly from a 460 in a 4x4 to have the correct trans bolt pattern and fit the transfercase adapter. If I'm full of it there some one will line me out. I would not think you would need to change your tranfercase. You can purchase conversion motor mounts from L&L and keep your engine towers, or get a set of factory towers from an 80 and up F series truck with the 460 and then buy factory motor mounts. This is what I did. A 460 from a E-series van will work in the 4x4 as it has the rear sump oil pan, and eliminates having to hunt for the parts to do this. Though I did find the whole kit (6 qt rear sump oil pan, dip stick and tube, long sump and the main bearing cap bolt to support the long sump) on a Ford performance parts site. Then you could use a 460 from a car. Don't know how much it cost though. It said it was a direct fit for an 80-86 F series truck. Do you have the big radiator? The 460's were factory in our model of trucks from 83 on (well F-250 4x4's that is), so its not real bad to locate some factory parts if you scrounge long enough.

I think I can help you, since I am doing a inline 6 to 460 in my 87 f150. First thing I did was go to the ford house and buy engine brackets for a f250 460. They bolt right up, holes drilled and everything. Since I have a DIVE block, I had to use the older engine mounts I got off the lincoln. Note that 87 engine mounts will not work. There was a bolt pattern change. Then you just need a rear sump oil pan and that engine will drop right in. Get a bigger radiator, bigger the better. I beleive you will need a new ingition system too. As for the transfer case, cant help you there. One thing I did find out during the swap, was that not all C6 transmissions are the same. The bolt patter was the same, yet the C6 off my I6 was narrower. I dont know if that will apply to you or not.
Now I have been known to be wrong alot, but this is what I do know. You can see what I have done at [a href="http://www.projectbigred.20m.com"]Project Big Red[/a]
P.S. sorry if words are misspelled and such, I was in a hurry.

Note to Fatherford: The 83-96 460 truck mounts will fit the earlier 429-460 blocks. There was no bolt pattern change. There is a bracket that bolts to the block, using the existing holes, and then the motor mount bolts to that bracket. Using the Ford towers this combination will fit all 1980-96 Ford F series and Bronco's. FYI
