Nope..Oklahoma. I got him from a real good local breeder. His dad was a show dog. He's my guard dog. Awesome Dog though. Great with my kids too. But if you plan on getting one, It's an expensive start. Be prepared..Its worth it though. I think I have about 1000.00 invested in him!

our dane has probably eatin up like 3,000 and has yet to get fixed and stomach tacked.. and we never even cropped her ears lol
I spent about $1000 on obedience training my male Shepherd (Diesel) not counting the 40 mile drive each way. He eats about 2 or 3 pounds of meat a day and bought dog food as well. His girlfriend (Tango) eats about 2/3 of what he does. Once I learned some proper techniques for training, we just did our own training with Tango. Both dogs usually are in the shop whenever we are working there and a little 'refresher' training at coffee and smoke breaks keeps them quite well managed. Just slacking off a bit with a smart dog takes quite an effort to get back to where they were in terms of obeying commands without exception. Diesel has the obeying down to almost military standards. He was humping Tango one day and a firm 'Diesel come' command had him stop and obey - not sure if thats normal???? He listens without exception but I would hate to add up how many hundreds of hours I spent with him. Tango has not achieved the same level of training but she is not as 'wired' as he is!
my mutt, the smaller one in the pics is a problem free dog. other than the yearly shots she's an awesome dog. the missus' dog, larger of the two has had multiple problems which we and the vet have narrowed and concluded that she's allergic to meat of any sort. she's on prednisone and vegatarian food... total cost?? about 3500 in vet bills and another 2g's a year for her food alone...
Well I tried several time to post my hounds pics here. I have 3 dogs . Foster a Blue heeler Border collie mix. (mostly heeler)
Sadie another blue heeler and Sheperd mix. Saved her from deaths door at the pound for a buck. 1hour later she would of been toast. She has hip displaciate and has lots of love and she puts herself between me and vistors all the time. Very protective.
Then there is Rosie the wifes dog we found abandon along the highway as a pup. No longer a pup, but now a small pony. She is Pyenese x with Collie. Also very protective of my wife around strangers, but very friendly.
They are all great dogs. Foster goes for xrays tomorrow, may of damaged his back legin a joint. I hope he just pulled a muscle.
I posted their pics in my gallery. If I could figure how to get them here I would.
in your gallery there's a link that says codes for posting or something to that effect, its right under the pic i think, click it, copy and paste the text into a post and the pic will show up.
