ok need some help!
found a 86 f-150 with a 302.says it runs awesome til it warms up.then runs really rough.is there anything these things had problems with that would cause this?thinking about buying it.but would have to drive it 2hrs home.thanks

could be a vacumn leak, mine did this but only when warm. The front corner mount of the carb was cracked so as the metal expanded with heat it would push the carb upwards a tiny bit.
edit: It would be efi but it could have somthing to do with metal warping

It depends on what engine it had. If I where to guess from the problem you described, it's probably a fuel injected 302, and it runs rough when the computer goes into closed loop mode. If you like piddling with wiring and don't mind learning about fuel injection, you probably can fix it.
