Has anyone here ever...

Cut into their factory roof to have an after-market sunroof installed??

I did, back in the days, on an old Blazer I owned, but never anything this new.. I'm real nervous about it, but I'd LOVE to have a sun roof on my 2006...

Anyone out there?

Just measure twice and cut once!!!! Once you get the first hole drilled it will by too late to change your mind. Use plenty of sealant. Sure it will look good when you are done. PS: watch out for the dome light wires.

Me personally, I'd farm that one out. I don't think I could cut a big hole in the roof of my truck. Good luck and maybe take some pics?

I had a Ranger years ago that I had a sunroof put in. I was looking at doing it myslef but decided to let the company I got it from do it. Like you I would be real worried on a new truck.
