Welcome to FTE. I haven't changed any but someone will be along shortly to tell you how easy it is. Did the dealer say where the leak was? Have you tried just tightening the rubber boots on the tubes? You should be able to clean up your tubes & boots and then take a careful look to see where your problem is.

Turbo Tubes

I stupidly didn`t ask which was leaking, but sounds like right side. May be able to tighten clamp , but bolts on exhaust manifolds are rusty . The dealer warned they would break during dissassembly & manifolds would have to be removed & some of those bolts may break, Horror story & big dollars.

they arent that bad you can get new gaskets for then and throw them back in there.... they use the same doughnut as a 350 pickup form the 80's... and from my experience the bolts arent really that bad they are probaby just trying to scare you in to having them do it and charge the hell out of you

I would think that a whistle ,sucking air sound as you describe would be on the intake side of things not the exhaust.
