Question Unpluging the wastegate?

How exactly do you unplug the waste gate? i have a 97 powerstroke with full all out banks system and turbo with their chip and gauges.

also would nayone not recommend doing this?

i wouldnt it keeps the turbo working correctly and so it wont over boost and lift the heads

the red line going to the top part of the turbo..pull it off and plug the end of the line on a boot clamp bolt..you should have a boost gauge..pushing the turbo over 25 psi is hard on it..

Unplug and you should see couple more pounds of boost.

i didnt think the banks kit was wastegated? but if it is you can un plug it and see some more psi on the top end but it really didnt do a whole lot feel wise... i ran mine unpluged for a while but decided it wasnt worth the turbo blowing up just on a chance that it was hurting it..... then the turbo blew
