Bigger is better You should know that!! You are from TEXAS!! If you got the spark
energy to jump a bigger gap it will give a bit better combustion. I would one day clean the spark plug area and take them out open em up a abit, reinstall go for a
ride see how it feels(no misses etc.) let cool regap a bit bigger go for a ride I wouldn't
go too crazy but there is a benefit until you either lose spark or the spark thins out too
much. IF you wanted to go through the trouble indexing the plugs will also add a bit
to the effect. Don't forget antisieze and dielectric.

well my performance distributors DUI calls for a 55 gap, that info came with all the info that was shipped with the distributor. i guess you decided on the pro form or some lesser brand, hence the lack of information about the gap. Dan

ya well saving 200 bucks is worth a lil less info sorry not much in to paying for a name =) and the more I looked in to them the more I see they are all the same. same coil out put same component's except for the sticker you cant tell them apart..truck has a bit more power faster rev much smoother and the engine looks so much cleaner. and with that extra 200 bucks I had a party

No, they are not the same. Different components, different quality.

Please note that our DUI's are:

1) Custom curved on a distributor machine based on your engine specs.
2) We have excellent tech support-each Distributor is issued an individual I.D. Number, so that if you change cams, pistons, etc., or want to put the DUI distributor in another motor in the future, you can call us with your ID number, have us pull your file, and then discuss whether or not you need to change your advance curve.
3) You talk to one of our employees-in Memphis, TN-not someone in another country. We are a family business that believes in the performance and racing industry

I gap mine at .055 and I have a stock ignition except for Motorsport wires. The 302 idles a bit smoother with this gap.
