Morning guys... We got 5 inches of snow yesterday and it was -2 overnight up here, but we may hit 30 today. However, they are calling more snow and -10 on Thursday night. I must be too close to Minnesota or something.
that sounds like a whole lot of sno fun...get it? sno fun? no fun? lol ahahaha
oooo boy, i got up too early this mornin...
ha ha, you better be taking an afternoon nap!
I kind of like the fact that we have snow. I get annoyed when it's bitter cold and no snow... if it's going to be cold, we might as well have snow. Of course, I'm not living in the big city anymore with all the traffic hassles associated with snow.
And, I'm really bummed I don't have a 4x4 to go out and play in the snow with...
Yep, the job is good. I keep pretty busy, but shockingly, the company allows me to have a life outside of work, unlike a certain large railroad I worked for in Omaha. Everyone around these parts is a bit more relaxed than Omaha folks too.
Hmmmm, who could that railroad be....! I'm glad that move worked out then! It would have sucked going through all of that, the house and all, and not be happy.
Yeah, tell me about it. The tough thing was convincing my wife... she liked her job so she really didn't want to move. Then, with all the house sale issues, I was second guessing myself for a few months. I almost gave up, I had set a deadline in my head that if the house wasn't sold by November, I would give up and try and find work in Omaha again.
Anyway, the wifey seems to like her new job in Sioux Falls (she was able to transfer to the VA hospital up there and keep her seniority). She likes that area a whole lot more than Omaha, and not having to pay income tax any more helps too.
Since I still work in Nebraska, I still get to send my money to Lincoln... you guys better appreciate me doing that for ya!
I'm sure we'll spend that money of yours wisely..... !! I'm glad things worked out for you wife too, that's make your life much easier! Okay, bud, I gotta get outa here. Going to go pick up the mirror that's going behind my bar. Have a good one Rob!
