Smile May be trouble

I have a 2000 F-25 4x4. I bought it new it has 140000 on it now. My problem is when I go to shift into 4 wheel high on dirt it sounds like the UV joints are going to come unglude. The hole truck jumps,shades and it will clear right up and go into 4 wheel. I have changed the UV joints on the rear and it still does it. So what do yall think?

what kind of shape are the front uv joints in? lol

It has new hubs on it at about 105000 the bearins when out on the right side so I just went ahead and had the left change to. Just to be safe. So you think service the trans. case.

If it has never been serviced then yes. Have you checked your vacuum lines to the back of the hubs.

Does it still make the grinding sound when you manually lock the hubs?
