i really want to edit the exhaust, i cant stand stock exhaust.
my friend has a 2000 f250 5.4, and the muffler has been cut off. it sounds pretty nice.
what would you guys recommend to get a loud deep tone? my truck technically isnt mine, its a farm truck, owned by the owner of the farm, but i drive it. i dont know if ill be able to go without muffler or cat...
so what kind of muffler would get the best deep loud tone?
since the stock pipe is 3", there's no sense in replacing it unless you want duals, which it sounds like you don't, SO... here's what i did on stock piping:
Magnaflow XL 3" SI/SO muffler
Magnaflow high-flow cat
Magnaflow 12" long 4" SS tip
dang, that truck in the video sounds like my friends with no muffler.
another farmer around the block has a '96 chevy 3500 with true dual exhaust, no cats, and some sort of open flow mufflers, dont know the brand. sounds nice.
magnaflow...they are straight through mufflers or a spintech i have a spintech, i love it nice deep sound that isnt like everyone elses, and magnaflows also have that great deep rumble
^ if you don't get the XL series... which mine is. it's a 3 chamber, which i DID NOT know either when i bought it, was mad cuz i wanted a straight-thru style. it took some getting used to the loudness, since thats not what i was after, but i kinda like it now.
