I got a worthless predator
Vehical not in Database... is what I get when I go to install the predator.Diablo say's they cant do anything ABOUT IT CAUSE THEY DONT HAVE AN UPDATE.I am going to put this on ebay unless someone has a better idea of what to do with it .I already thought bout using it as a boat anchor

Nope not ebay.Got it from a guy who is south of you on FTE.Ford wrote the same program different ways and diablo has'nt caught up to this program.At least that is how I understand/hear it

First, get the PCM code. Its a 4 digit code (3 letters followed by 1 number). Its at two locations.
1. Open the passenger side door. On the door frame, near the hinges, look for a white sticker with this code. Often this washes off so you have to look at the 2nd, harder to read location.
2. Open the hood. On the fire wall where the battery is, about a foot down you'll see the computer sticking through the firewall. It will have a large wiring harness bolted to it with a 10 mm bolt. On the long edge of this box is a white sticker with the code. You may need a small mirror to see it.
Get me this code and I'll see what information I can get.

ATC2 is an older code. I'm not sure why it wouldn't be supported, unless your dealer updated it to something other than ATC2 and did not update the decal. Considering how poor their support is (they often give canned answers rather than spend a lot of time with you, especially since you bought it second hand)... I'd go their web site and download the latest update (made in 2006, much newer than the ATC2 code) and update your unit. It won't hurt to try, and there's a good chance it will work.

The sticker wasnt updated because a freind of mine did it when we were trying to fix another problem
I have v8r2 in there now isnt that the latest?
And do i need a cable that goes to the predater and then 1 that hooks up to a USB port in my computeer?
