I am looking for an injection pump ( IP ) to replace a Stanadyne DB2-5028 ( DB2831-5028) on a 1994 F250 E4OD with code E injectors . I have been told the DB2-5013 (DB2831-5013) is the same pump but for a manual transmission vehicle but will work ( different screw sizes for the auto transmission FIPL) . I was wondering what older model injection pumps would work (have the correct FIPL fit). I wouldn't mind replacing injectors anyway .
Can his be done or is there something else particular to the 1993-1994 engines that could make doing this a problem?
