Cleaning bed surface?
My truck bed has alot of surface rust nothing major. How would I clean it up really good so I can paint it or something?
Is herculiner roll on liner any good? I cant afford Line X
Or should I paint it with thick paint?

You can get some scotch brite pads and some cleaner/degreaser from your local auto body supply store and go to town. I used an air hose to get dirt out of all the little nooks and crannies and then cleaned the bed using the scuff pads and the degreaser and it came out pretty good.
